Tivit I believe is the best thing to be doing in Esper colors. I don’t believe it’s the strongest Swiss deck but I believe it’s top tier when you make Top 16 and the rounds aren’t timed. If you enjoy big mana commanders that when you resolve you feel very far ahead and if you untap with it it’s very diffcult to lose the game, this is the deck for you! It’s a better Niv-Mizzet.
Tournament day started pretty good. I woke up on time for the tournament so that was important. My wife brought me a red bull and breakfast for round 2 so that was awesome. Round 3 or 4 was the match I had a alot of fun playing with some old friends. It was a good time and I made top 16, so was excited for that. My play group The Cabal gave me an inspirational speech and I carried that energy and won the whole tourney. I got lucky a few times in the final. I ended the day undefeated so i did something right.
